A note to all our registered members and users of our web sites and forums.

If you are a registered member of our web site; regardless if you are an actor, model, animal actor, entertainer or extra, casting or production personnel you are a member of a web site that supplies important jobs and information regarding the entertainment field.

You have benefits available to you as member and even more benefits if you are a listed member with a web page profile on our servers.

Please realize that the staff here works hard to keep this site as helpful as possible, they put in hours to market our members and web site as well as handle all the technical aspects of the web site itself.

What we want you to understand is that there are hours of work and costs associated with this entire process even though it is affordable to free to you as a member on our sites.

So our proposal is this…. If you want to help or contribute in keeping the web site free and open access to all, to help the web site grow and attract more work for you, please read below on how to help EFM attract more casting opportunities, jobs and information all the while benefiting yourself.

Below are some tips and suggestions below for members to show their support, appreciation and to help in the goal to get exposure and help EFM to be helpful to all of us.

1- Post your web page link on your social network pages. This helps your page come up in the search engines resulting more visibility to casting people looking for talent.

2-Use your profile page link in auditions and casting call emails. Use it as part of your signature and use it in the body of your email. In the event your pictures do not download in their email, the casting person has the option to click on the link and see your pics and information on the web, increasing your chances for job.

3- Tell the casting personnel when you attend a call or open audition that you are a member of EFM. EFM is known all over the world and if the members spread the word and let casting people know that there is great talent on EFM, then the world would get around and more casting personnel will request our members for projects. And that could be you!

4- Keep your web page profile updated and make sure it looks the best it can be. Casting people are looking at your page in order to make a decision if you are someone they want to see. So be sure to check that your photos are the best that you have talents and abilities’ listed, training, introduction and all the other components that make up your profile page.

5- Visit the forums often, check the posted auditions, leave us a post about how an audition turned out, any questions you may have, how the forum helps you, any casting calls you hear about or just insightful information that you would like to share with the others members here. This helps EFM and members when we share our successes, help, suggestions and stories.

6- Help promote EFM, let others know about this great free resource. The more talent that is attracted to EFM the better for casting personnel and that trickles down to all members including you.

7- If you have any suggestions, casting or audition information, stories about your experiences, tips, and anything else that inspires you to post in our forums, please do.

8- Put an EFM banner on any web page or social networking page you have. If you contact us the staff graphics department will create a special banner for your page if you like. Any size or design for free. If you have good pictures, they will be used in our banners that are out on the internet.

There are thousands of members on EFM from all over the world. There are casting people that visit and read the forums’ and everyone in between. Let’s use this power to get out there and be seen, contribute to others and share your knowledge and expertise. It will help us all.

NOTE: There are sponsors on our web site who display banners to members when they log on to the forums’ and web site. Same concept as television commercials and we have partnered with sponsors that we think would appeal or benefit members. If you see something that is of a service or a product on the site that interests you, considering checking out their web sites.

Many production personnel are casting projects that need people with special abilities and charastics, such as people with tattoos, those who can ride a horse or motorcycle. Talnet that can dance, (what kind of dance) shoot or posess specific abilities and characteristics.

 

Please read the posted and explicit instructions presented on our web site when setting up your profile. Please pay special attention to READ before you  fill out the comments section AND the talents and abilities section of your profiles. This inforation will help users of our site(s) find what they are looking for.  (Please CHECK your spelling)

 

Sadly not everyone understands the importance of taking the time to create a profile page that is presented professionally and properly.  All profile pages need to be approved so take care to READ instructions CAREFULLY

 

Once you have completed or updated your PROFILE on the talents and abilities section.  Please be sure to do a search for yourself and look at your thumbnail and your profile to be SURE that it displays properly.

 

Also, do a search by visiting our search page. Do a search using the words you added for talent, abilities and characteristics you possess to be sure you show up.

 

Be SURE you come up in a search for those talents from the search page of the site.  If you do NOT come up in those searched, go back to your profile and enter your abilities’, save and then search again from the search page until you do.

 

The new casting database is a powerful resource for casting personnel and a terrific benefit to the people displaying on the site. So take the time to  create the BEST web page for casting seeking members for their projects.

 

NOTE: The staff POLICE the site(s) often and if your profile is not up to par, it will be updated or deleted.

REMEMBER: Your profile page is like having your own web site.  

 

Once your profile is set up you will see a link displayed on your profile page below your main photo, this is your unique profile web page link.

 

• Once you set up a good profile, then you can send that link out for casting calls so the person clicking on the link will be immediately sent to your profile page to see your pictures and information. So use it.
• Use your profile link in your emails and audition submissions
• Use your profile link as a signature and whatever else you can do to promote your profile link.
• Get your profile page out on the internet and your social networking pages.
• Use your link even if you attach photos for an audition submission, often times an email will not download or display photos properly, so if you have your Handmealine.com or Extrasformovies.com profile page link in the email,  the casting person has an opportunity to click on it to visit your page.
• Put your link on your resume, this too will be a way for casting people to see you instantly.

 Required that your Not Union. No Actresses already on the market. This film wants entirely New Comers to apply. Even though Non-Union as you are presently, you will be hired on a union-sag/voucher. No credits!

Never had auditioned prefered. We will check by social security, payrolls or promo events, etc. You will be fired/terminated if such matter is found by any pay terms. Required by the studio on this specific casting.

Read twice as it’s specific. Very selective role.

(Open Casting Call )–Females only! Any Kind of Look. Required you fit the type, completely. Your age is 27 at least or min to the male partner who is 40 in age or that your near to or much older.

Need a gal whom is real, and whom has dated or been envolved w/older guys if she is younger in wide age in-differences. Or if she is much older by even 60′s is fine also. The idea here, is you actually dated a guy either in real life wide age in-difference or your actually near to this age he is.

Your look is not an issue. This movie is a very large budgeted, major film for Imax Theater releasing and Mann Theaters worldwide disturbed by Universal. Big billed stars and it’s an action movie.

Only this is the bio;

This couple is out touring New York and a spy dumps his PC tiny chip of secret info into a ladies bag which it’s you that this happens to. You unaware, head off into various places with not only Federal agents following you tracking this chip but the spy’s that try to kidnap you in various places. So much so that allot of action takes place right around you and your partner “where ever” you two go, but ” you both are not aware ever” of whats happening. And your hired as background/s.a.g vouchered in non-dailogue form. Simply as extras but actually leading characters in this 007 style movie. Made by the producers of the epic films as we have known so well. So, you see it’s very intense.

You will be treated as the leads all thru the entire feature by production.

 -(Ema);  She is very physically aggressive appearing as if she is turned-on by this guy. Always studying his body so much that it shows upon her face. see just where she is looking all the time in her eyes obviously while she is talking to him. This is ” all ” the time through the entire movie. It will tease our thoughts in play.

We are continiously reminded that she is always thinking about his body, in ‘ want ‘ of him. She continuiously shows interest in his figure even while walking, w/him, seated or anywhere. She is never stopping in being a tease upon him. She dresses to try/attempt to turn-him on either by actions or very provatively dressed mostly in very casual wear. –End/description.

Paramount Pictures wants YOUR CAR to be a movie STAR in Weirton, West Virginia!  Paramount is accepting vehicle photos from owners with all types of NON-MODIFIED vehicles from 1960s to 1980 (preferably non muscle cars).  

 

Cars must be in working condition!  Specific needs include station wagons, sedans, Buicks, Jeeps. You will be compensated for use of your vehicle. Cars are needed immediately and until mid-October.  Some vehicles may need to be used one day only and some may need to be used for several days.  If you have already submitted your car for consideration, it is not necessary to resubmit your info.

ACTORS WANTED FOR OPEN CASTING CALL IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA

 

Casting for its second feature-film production, Alan’s Day.

 

The film is a psychological thriller/war movie about an Iraq War veteran, suffering from an extreme post-traumatic stress disorder, who fights to save his life from Russian spies whom he had previous correspondence with…or did he?

 

The film hit the production charts in Variety Magazine on July 28, 2010 and is set to begin principle photography from Monday, October 18 -Friday, October 22.

 

We are auditioning for parts on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 8:00am to 11:00pm in Phoenix, AZ 85044.

 

This is an OPEN CASTING CALL, and does not require you to schedule an audition. If you fit the descriptions for the roles posted, just show up any time between 8am and 11pm. If for some reason you cannot make it to the audition, we can schedule an appointment.

Actors wanted - We would accept submissions mainly from Arizona. If actors, however, are willing to travel on their own, we will accept submissions from other states too. Transportation will not be provided.

Alan Type:lead (understudy) Sex: Male Age: 21-35 Race: Caucasian Hair Color: Dark Brown or Black Special Skills: Gun Skills, Toned upper body, Crewcut/Shaved head a plus! Character Description: An Iraq War vet. A tough, “nervously bottled up” personality.

 

Role:Laura Type:Co-Star Sex:Female Age:21-35 Race:n/a Hair Color:Dark Brown/Black Special Skills: The ability to “cry” Character Description: Alan’s ex-fiancee, who moved on in life, because she thought Alan had died in battle. Laura is very “dreamlike”. She appears in Alan’s dreams and memories. She has a very delicate, “tired” quality to her, as if Alan’s dreams are reflecting his own “tiring” perseverance in trying to get back to her.

 

Role: Z Type:Co-Star (understudy) Sex: Female Age:18-40 Race:n/a Hair Color:n/a Special Skills: Z has a very “punk”/”gothic” appearance. A mohawk, tattoos, piercings, etc. are all pluses. Character Description: Z is the philosophical drug dealer who offers Alan an alternative to his downward spiral in post-traumatic stress disorder hell. She is cool, calm, and bold, with an appearance that should make a statement on its own.

 

Role: Priest Type: Co-Star Sex::male Age::40-80 Race:Caucasian or Hispanic Hair Color: n/a Special Skills:Ability to speak Latin or Spanish is a plus (but not necessary). Character Description: A Catholic priest with a Zen-like attitude towards life. He is quiet, mysterious, deep. Alan watches him as he frequents a church in search of help. The priest encourages Alan to fight against “evil” in the world.

 

Roles: 4 Russian Spies/Doctors Type: principal characters Sex: 3 male 1 female Age: 25-50 Race: Caucasian Hair Color:n/a Special Skills: Ability to speak Russian is a plus (but not necessary). At least be able to pull-off a Russian accent. Not afraid to use fake weapons. Character Description: This group of characters play a very important role in the film. They are the villians who spy on Alan as he goes about his daily life. Since this movie is a psychological thriller, the doctors play the spies and spies play the doctors. In Alan’s mind they are Russian spies, in reality, they are Russian doctors/scientists who are doing experiments on Alan. When Alan hallucinates that people are following him, he is really hallucinating the real doctors that he is seeing while imprisoned in a lab.

Comments: Actors do not need to attend the Open Audition. They can submit their headshot, resume, and/or DVD as well.
