Casting Call in Martinsburg, West Virginia

Description: SEEKING ACTORS/ACTRESSES FOR INDEPENDENT HORROR FILM TO BE SHOT IN WEST VIRGINIA IN SUMMER 2009. This is a non-union production. Expense compensation offered for all roles, some pay available depending on role.

Talent Type: Submissions accepted from all over the U.S. All characters are college age unless otherwise noted.

TWINS (female leads) Need female, identical Twins (or at least two girls who can look VERY much alike in height and appearance without excess makeup or costuming).

Roles are nonspeaking yet overloaded with personality. Female Lead Quirky, bubbly, and genial personality. A very good natured, class clown type friendly personality.

Male Lead The calmer brother of the above-mentioned female lead, who smiles at her silliness and laughs at her jokes, but is a strong personality in his own, quiet sort of way.

Male lead Considered by his judgmental peers to be nerdy and unpopular, but considered by friends to be supportive and courageous.

Female supporting Nice sometimes, bitchy other times, but strong personality all around.

Male supporting Easygoing guy to the extreme, loves to have fun, never worries about much.

Female supporting Somewhat snooty sometimes, sexy other times, but like her boyfriend (listed above), shes generally laid back and doesnt worry a lot.

Male supporting Brazen, cocky, self-assured with a maniacal edge. Yeah, hes that kinda guy.

Female bit age range 40-50 mother of one of the supporting characters.

Female bit age range 35-45 a small, nonspeaking, but very important part that is integral to the story.

Female bit age range 6-9 Younger self of the female lead listed above. Small, nonspeaking role which will generally be cast based on how well the young actresss look matches the older actress.

Male bit age range 6-9 Younger self of the male lead listed above. Small, nonspeaking role which will generally be cast based on how well the young actors look matches the older actor playing Ted.

Female bit age range 35-45 Parent of lead characters. Brief but important role. Male bit age range 35-45 Parent of lead characters. Brief but important role.

Female bit age range 30-40 Aunt of lead characters.

Health magazine is looking for New York tristate women in their 30s-50s whove shed significant amounts of weight (20-50lbs or more) simply by altering ONE habit. Were not talking super obvious lifestyle modifications like buying a treadmill or joining Jenny Craig. More like changes so small you almost dont even notice the extra calories youre burning/missing until you wake up one morning and your pants are too big. Here are a few examples of the kinds of responses were seeking: I got a dog! I really had to move to keep up with him. I switched my Big Gulp full of Coke to flavored seltzer.

 I started walking to work. I added a plate of steamed vegetables to the dinner table every night, no matter what entree I was serving. I learned to cook. Description: I am producing a dinner theater production based on the Brady Bunch at The Newport Beachside Resort in Sunny Isles Beach.

The show debuts on Friday May 8th and includes base pay, tips, ticket sales commissions, and meals. Cast will interact with the audience and serve them IN CHARACTER. Improv skills a plus, singing a plus.

This will be an ongoing show, and we are still deciding on doing one or two shows a night, once a week or every other week.
