Seeking Casting Calls and Auditions?
We offer a number of ways to get involved in the film and television industry.
Modeling, acting, extras, entertainers human or not.
How it works:
1- Post your information and photos online by creating your profile on the web site. Your profiles will then be available to casting personnel who are seeking talent for their projects on the internet. If you are a fit for their project, they will send out an inquiry which will go directly to our casting department for review. Then email will then be sent directly to you
in order to contact the production person for more details. We do NOT negotiate with casting personnel as your representative, it is the responsibility of you the member to engage the casting person.
2- We have two web sites, and on EFM we maintain a forum where casing personnel will post casting calls and open auditions when seeking a number of talent or crew needs. Many times, there are numerous roles available and casting agents will post in the forums asking for submissions or holding open calls and auditions. To view the calls, log on to the forums and select the state you are located in for any recent notices. Casting calls and auditions are posted as they come in so be sure to check the forums on a constant basis. You never know what notices will get posted or when.
3- Facebook and other social media. We maintain a Facebook, Twitter, Google plus and other social pages. Be sure to friend us and watch for casting call notices. We do not post everything on our social pages, so if you want to keep updated, be sure to check the forums as well
Creating Your Profile:
Lastly a few tips on creating a talent, modeling or work as an extra profile. Be sure to add clear photos with simple backgrounds as your photos for your online profile. You do NOT have to have professional photos but they must be clear and uncluttered. It is not that difficult to get work as an extra in movies, however you need to do your homework and understand the process as well as how to prepare and market yourself.

Where you live depends on the extra work available. If you live in a state where they shoot films or television commercials then you are able to try out for projects. There are a number of projects that will cast nationwide, generally for larger roles, but in most situations, you will have to pay your travel expenses to get to where the shoot will take place.

Say you want to shoot for a business look, an office chair and desk would suffice as subtle background elements, or maybe you want to do a homeless type shot, the alley around the corner could do the trick.
Subtle props can play a big role in creating a character shot. If you want to look like a doctor, a simple white jacket and stethoscope would give you that look, or if you want to portray a secretary type, a clip board, telephone or computer on a desk will set the tone. Just be advised that before you take your photos, create a plan of the type of shots you want to get, then go have fun. You can also do the shoot one different days to get more varied shots.

CREATE SOMETHING WITH YOUR PHOTO TO TAKE TO AUDITIONS AND OPEN CALLS
